Privacy policy

HigherOps Inc. operates HigherTools, the account and billing service for the HigherOps tool family. This policy explains how HigherTools handles information when you sign in, manage an account, add a tool, or contact us.

• Account details: account and member names, email addresses, roles, invitations, and the tools available to an account.
• Sign-in details: your email address, authentication records, and, if you choose Google sign-in, your basic Google profile and email address. You can also sign in with an emailed code.
• Billing details: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan and payment status, and invoices. Stripe handles payment processing.
• Operations details: usage totals reported by each tool, provisioning status, and staff audit records of account and access changes.

We use this information to sign you in, manage account roles and invitations, provide access to tools, administer subscriptions and complimentary access, show usage and billing, support customers, and keep a record of staff actions.

HigherTools does not store chats, calls, context, or reports from the tools. Each tool stores its own data and has its own privacy policy. Review that policy when using a tool.

Authorized account members can see account information according to their role. HigherOps staff may access account, billing, usage, and audit information to operate and support the service.

• Supabase provides the database and authentication service.
• Vercel hosts the HigherTools application.
• Stripe processes payments, subscriptions, and invoices. Through Stripe Managed Payments, Stripe acts as merchant of record and handles sales tax.
• Resend delivers account email, including invitations and sign-in codes.
• Google provides optional sign-in when you choose it.

HigherTools uses cookies to maintain sign-in sessions and complete authentication. We use account roles and server-side access checks to limit who can view or change an account. Contact us if you believe someone has gained unauthorized access to your account.

To ask about your information, request a correction, or request deletion, email hello@higherops.io. We may need to confirm your identity or authority before acting. Contact us for information about retention or how a request applies to billing and audit records.

For chats, calls, context, reports, or other information held by an individual tool, use that tool's privacy policy or contact its operator.
